John Richardson, Cultured Analysis LLC – John Richardson is co-founder of Cultured Analysis LLC. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Hampden-Sydney College and his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a professor of chemistry at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. John’s research interests, besides studying kombucha, have spanned electrochemistry, chemical sensing, materials chemistry, and forensic chemistry.

Lauren Shearer of Cultured Analysis LLC – Lauren is a co-founder of Cultured Analysis LLC. She received her BS in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Shippensburg University. In 2019, she was introduced to a local kombucha brewery and quickly became interested in the science behind kombucha brewing. This led to her decision to focus her career on kombucha analysis and consulting in the industry by starting Cultured Analysis LLC with her business partners.

Jeb Kegerreis, Cultured Analysis – Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry, B.S. in Chemistry from Shippensburg University (2004),Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2009), Professor of Chemistry at Shippensburg University from 2009 to present.
