First I’d like to introduce myself – my name is Hannah and I am an outreach representative with the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA). OIA works to increase participation in the outdoors, lobby for issues like public lands, and push the industry forward to keep sustainable business innovation a focus. OIA is hosting its 4th Sustainability Boot Camp of the year in Costa Mesa on December 5th and 6th. The Bootcamp is a day-and-a-half intensive workshop for outdoor gear brands to learn and develop their skills and strategies for sustainability. Alongside brands just getting started, we’ll have industry experts from Patagonia, prAna, REI & others. The agenda will be a mix of presentations, group exercises, reflection time – and, a happy hour to network! This is where we’re looking for donations:
