Hi, I’m a Kombucha lover/owner/brewer in Santa Fe for 35 years, for myself only,not commercial in any way. I’m still using the decendents /’babies’of the original ‘mother’ mushroom I received way back then. Although I’m super diligent in cleanliness, only using wood spoons and glass, etc, no metal around the mushroom, I’m finally having some issues, though, with my present ‘baby’ ,that’s my main mother mushroom now, and may need to get a new ‘mother’ from outside.
