Deane’s Kombucha is hiring! We are seeking help in our kitchen brewing kombucha. Kitchen is located in NE Minneapolis.

Looking for an affable, low drama person who takes their work seriously. In return you will be treated fairly and professionally. Reliability and honesty a must!

Two shifts per week to start, Mondays and Thursdays, 4-8 hours per shift – good chance that more hours will soon be available. Hours are 9 am until we’re done (usually about 2:00 pm).

Must be able to lift 45 lbs with ease (there is A LOT of lifting in this position.) Restaurant/kitchen experience a plus, but not necessary if you’re the right fit. Experience in fermenting (beer, wine or fermented foods) a double bonus.

Perfect candidate be able to grow into position for more duties and more work days. (Potential future work includes helping with deliveries, picking up ingredients, working markets and festivals etc.)

Very relaxed work environment, but must take the work seriously.

Candidate will able to adhere to restaurant standards for beverage preparation and produce a consistent product. Maintain hygiene and kitchen cleanliness levels above and beyond what is required by the Health Department, and ensure that food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures followed every day.

Ideal candidate will help refine our procedures. You will need to be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances. Must be willing to ask questions to make sure the job is done right!

Deane’s Kombucha is the only local kombucha fermenting in oak barrels using whole fruit for flavoring. We are growing like crazy and hope to find someone who can grow with us and hopefully make a career out of it. Equal opportunity employer.

We are seeking an additional Brand Ambassador/Demo Specialist for the Austin area (with possible occasional demos in San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos and Cedar Park).

Days are predominately Friday, Saturday & Sunday with some Monday evenings.

Mostly product sampling demos with occasional Event help

Typical Demo hours between 10:30-7:30 (Most shifts are 5 hours) Events can be longer

Must be comfortable with a schedule that will range from 0-3 Demos a week/0-15 hours a week.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants extra money and be tied to a healthy movement.

Perfect for those looking for a second job with occasional shifts mainly during evenings and weekends.

Be prepared for sporadic hours, some weeks may have few to no demos, and others may have 3 or 4. An average month may have 4-16 demos depending on our promotion schedule.

This would not be good for someone that needs a stable paycheck, as some weeks may not have demos.

Buddha’s Brew is seeking a happy and bubbly personality to promote our delicious and fun brand of Kombucha.

We need someone with a talent to captivate customers, generate brand awareness, increase product sales and merchandise shelves by stocking and spotting opportunities.

Perks include complimentary Buddha’s Brew Kombucha, as well as Buddha’s Brew T-shirts and apparel!

Key Responsibilities:

-Sampling and promoting Buddha’s Brew Kombucha in health food, natural grocery chains and occasional events.

-Demos are typically 5 hours long which includes a quick set up, clean up/break down, shelf stocking and submitting a brief demo recap afterwards.

-Demo times vary but typically they are scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday and some Monday anywhere from 10:30am-7:30pm (depending on your availability) Events have different hours.

-Actively engage and educate customers with product samples and Kombucha wisdom.

-Helping set up, sample and educate guests and tear down for Events. Be very helpful if could handle 50-lb soda kegs.

Qualifications Include:

-Ability to lift 20-37lb cases of Kombucha and stock shelves before and after demo

-High-Energy with stamina to be able to stand for up to 6 hours

-Outgoing, exceptional interpersonal skills

-Affable, infectious personality, loves to talk to people and far from shy

-active in the healthy and fit lifestyle, very passionate about healthy living and nutrition

-extremely organized, reliable & trust-worthy -possess good, reliable vehicle and be able to drive to demo locations

-computer literate with email and spreadsheet capabilities.

-related experience nice (event marketing, demos, sales, brand promotion, retail/grocery)

-knowledgeable about Kombucha, probiotics and live cultures is a plus, but we can educate.

Compensation, depending on experience, is $12-15/hour to start with a gas stipend for demos outside of Central Austin.
