Zoey founded Canada’s first Kombucha in 2006 after discovering the incredible digestive benefits of kombucha. Her vision then, and ongoing mission now, is to make her best tasting kombucha available everywhere so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of great digestion.
Today Tonica Kombucha is sold in all the best grocers, cafes and offices in over 2500 stores across Canada including at Shoppers Drug Mart, Whole Foods, Metro, Farm Boy and Loblaws, and on tap at Organic Garage, Village Juice;
Tonica produces Private Label for Farm Boy and bulk ingredient with our partners at MillStreet, and Level Up in the first CBD kombucha-now available in the OCS stores.
After a steady increase in consumer demand for Kombucha, along with a winning pitch on Dragons Den in 2012, Tonica has continued to grow as a household health staple across Canada.

 


Johanna Denne,
Luna Bay Booch

Johanna Denne is currently Luna Bay’s production manager in Golden, Colorado. She is responsible for overseeing all production of all Luna Bay hard kombucha including R&D, quality assurance, forecasting and portfolio expansion. With her expertise in brewing and mixed culture fermentation, Johanna has been integral in scaling Luna Bay to serve consumers coast to coast. Prior to joining Luna Bay, Johanna had been working in production for Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project where she was responsible for building the Lab and Quality Program and last held the role of director of brewing operations. Crooked Stave is known for its world class traditional wild, sour, and spontaneous beers. Johanna completed her B.S. of Chemistry from Metropolitan State University in Denver and her M.S of Chemistry at the University of Colorado.

 


Shane Dickman
Rocky Mountain Cultures

Shane’s idea of a good time is a moonlight skin up the mountain or a float down one of the local rapid rivers. Driven by an endless desire to succeed, he is passionate about his vision. Life guided him to Western State College for an undergrad degree in business administration and a full ride football scholarship. When that journey ended, he found his new place with his current business partner, and brother, to collectively build the High Country Kombucha brand from the ground up. 14 years later, Shane now leads operations and is heart and soul of Rocky Mountain Cultures, the evolution of the brand. He inspires, challenges and infuses passion into his staff, Shane’s work ethic and vision make everyone around him engaged and excited for the future.
